The arrival...

When we got off the train Sloane was of course screaming again. Wonderful first impression as a sister in law of Marie-Claire was waiting to greet us, along with her friend because they correctly guessed that we would need two European cars to manage us (and our SHITE). Once we were able to let Sloane chase the pigeons in the square outside the train station, she was happy again. Kind of a funny site in her pumas and a top and no pants.
They drove us straight to the house. Showed us the bedrooms and said they would be back in the morning to explain things like the pool, the gate at the entrance, how to open the gate for visitors and so on.

The house was pretty big and has a nice layout. Open kitchen and dining room. A cute kids room on the ground floor with two double beds and a loft with a queen size bed and all kinds of toys. Upstairs their are two bedrooms, one queen and one double (where they had a crib set up for Sloane. Another short flight up is the master and an office with a deck.

We made pasta and ham that they left for us and cracked open the bottle of wine.
Somehow managed to get the kids to bed by 12 and laid our head down in our bed and crashed....and by 2 everyone was awake again...until about 5am. Luckily we all went back to sleep and Sean and I slept until almost noon. We had to wake the kids who were so soundingly sleeping I had to take a picture!
